Product/Design Engineer - Depew, NY

PCB Piezotronics, Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of sensors for the test and measurement industry, has an immediate need for experienced Product Design Engineers.

At PCB, Product/Design Engineers use engineering education and background knowledge to complete moderate to complex product design projects utilizing PCB’s 3D modeling software, in order to launch into manufacturing environment. Works with other Engineers in order to learn, improve, and teach new sensor technology, manufacturing processes, test methods, departmental procedures and policies. Creates the documentation package to provide the "recipe" for manufacturing our products. Significant interaction with Sales, Manufacturing Technicians, and other Engineers is required, but also is the ability to schedule, manage, and complete projects independently.

Successful candidates will have a four-year Engineering degree and five years applicable work experience. Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office software, 3D modeling software, dimensional stack up training, GDT training, machining experience, and assembly process experience are required; as is a good understanding of both electrical and mechanical design inputs.
