Production Manager - Depew, NY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide daily operational and technical support for the Crystal’s department and the Hermetic Connector Department. Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Crystals Department. Interacts cooperatively with other teams so that they may best serve the customer. Responsible for the direct supervision of a number of direct and indirect reports. Responsible for coordinating manufacturing support operations with all product groups. Responsible for coordinating the allocation of personnel among the product groups. Responsible for ensuring necessary human resources and other capital needs to ensure corporate growth targets. Ensures compliance to corporate targets of budgets, gross margin, yield, scrap, re-work and delivery. Adheres to commitments to meeting delivery deadlines requested by divisions. Maintains effective communication systems between management and departments. Performs performance evaluations. Participates in weekly meetings and is responsible for providing feedback to staff on a weekly basis. Responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly working environment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum of Bachelors degree in Ceramics or Materials Engineering and ten years experience in a manufacturing environment. Piezoelectric ceramics experience preferred.
