Production Planner II - Depew, NY

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is a global leader in the manufacture of piezoelectric and strain gauge sensors, and is looking for a dynamic individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001. Plan and issue work orders to meet the customer demand and fill safety stock. Maintain order modifiers to optimize supply and demand. Prepares and distributes work orders to members of product group and directs inventory distributions to product groups as determined by work orders. Manages quantity and organization of inventory located in department areas. Executes requirements from MRP or kanban signals. Coordinates and expedites replenishment of inventory in a timely and cost effective manner to meet customer demand. Determines inventory quantities required for future production needs through kanban or safety stock evaluation. Maintain order modifiers to optimize supply and demand. Assumes the responsibility for resolving material problems (MDR, IMDR) that prevent manufacturing from meeting their scheduled work order completion dates. Directs activities to ensure work orders meet inventory availability prior to release for manufacture. Reviews, approves or issues all jobs that impact inventory. Confers with purchasing, engineering, production and other personnel to exchange information regarding inventories, schedules, and related issues. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum of an Associates Degree and two to five years experience in manufacturing environment or a equivalent combination of education and experience. APICS certification a plus.
